Repair of concrete slab, restoration of historic columns, and stabilization of existing chimney. SCOPE OF WORK: The owners are soliciting proposals from qualified firms or individuals to provide construction services to renovate the front facade of 1409 E. Dominick Street in Rome, NY. Please provide bids broken down in the following categories. Some or all the categories of work will be implemented, based on what can be accomplished within the project budget. A. REPAIR CONCRETE SLAB B. RESTORE COLUMN CI (SQUARE) C. RESTORE COLUMN C4 (SQUARE) D. REPAIR COLUMNS C2 & C3 (ROUND) E. REPAIR PILASTERS P1 & P2 F. PAINT 4 COLUMNS & 2 PILASTERS G. REPAIR EXISTING CHIMNEY There will be no pre-bid conference for this bid. The minority members must exercise the authority to independently control the day-to-day business decisions of the firm. Minority means Blacks, Hispanics, American Indians, Alaskan Natives, Asians and Pacific Islanders. A women-owned business enterprise is defined as a business firm which is at least fifty-one percent (51%) owned, operated and controlled by women. The women ownership must exercise the authority to independently control the day-to-day business decisions of the firm. Bids shall be accompanied by money order, certified check, or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid price, payable to the City Treasurer, City of Rome, Rome New York. No bidder may withdraw their bid within forty-five (45) calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The City of Rome reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to accept any proposals deemed to be in its best interest.
