The City of Cleburne, Texas will receive Sealed Bids for the following project: Bid No. 22-88: E. HENDERSON WATER LINE Project Description: The work to be completed under this contract generally includes, but is not limited to, the following: approximately 1,350 LF of 8" C900 PVC Water line, installation of fire hydrants, water service connections, associated appurtenances and 1,430 SF of asphalt driveway repair, Bid Submittal. All bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes CLEARLY MARKED with the Project Name, Bid Date and Bid Number on the outside envelope. Bids received after the above-specified time will not be considered. The City of Cleburne will not be responsible if the U.S. Postal Service or any other courier system fails to deliver the sealed bid to the City of Cleburne by the given deadline above. Emailed or facsimile of Proposals will not be accepted. Each bid shall be accompanied by a cashier's check or certified check made payable to the City of Cleburne, or a bid bond, duly executed by the bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company approved by the Owner, in the amount of five (5%) percent of the total bid. Bids may be held by the City of Cleburne for a period not to exceed 30 days from the date of bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award.
