Bids received after the above specified time for opening will be returned unopened to the sender. The project in general consists of furnishing the following: 1. Materials Only (Six (6) Month Unit Price) a. Surface Course Aggregates b. Asphaltic Concrete Cold Mix c. Concrete Pipe (Various Sizes at 8' Joints; Includes Flexible Watertight Gaskets) d. Polyvinyl Chloride Culvert Pipe (Various Types and Sizes) e. Portland Cement Concrete and Flowable Fill f. Asphaltic Concrete Hot Mix 2. Materials, Equipment and Labor (Twelve (12) Month Unit Prices) a. Routing, Cleaning and Sealing Pavement Cracks The Contractor's classification for Item No. 2 above shall be Highway, Street and Bridge Construction. THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS, consisting of the Notice to Bidders, Information for Bidders, Bid Form, Agreement, General Conditions, Special Conditions, Specifications, and Addenda, may be examined at the following location during the specified hours: Mader Engineering, Inc., 1245 South College Road, Building 1, Lafayette, Louisiana 70503 (Hours: Monday through Thursday from 8:30 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. and from 1:00 P.M. - 4:30 P.M., and on Friday from 8:30 A.M. - 11:30 A.M.). The length of the contract for the items above shall be as shown above. No Bid Bond is required. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities. No bid may be withdrawn for at least thirty (30) days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids. The City of Crowley strongly encourages the participation of the minority business enterprises in all contracts or procurements let by the City for goods and services. To that end, all contractors and suppliers are encouraged to utilize minority business enterprises in the purchase or sub-contracting of materials, supplies, and services in which minority-owned businesses are available.
