This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS / SOLICITATION prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation issued. The solicitation number is 12405B22Q0219 and is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. FAR clauses and provisions enclosed within this RFP are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2022-06 and are available in full text through Internet access at http://www.acquisition.gov/far. Description of Work: The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agriculture Research Service (ARS), US Vegetable Laboratory, Charleston, SC location has a requirement for Growth Chamber Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic Installation Building#4 (2 rooms, rooms#3 and #4). The contractor shall provide all resources necessary to accomplish the services in strict accordance as described in Statement of Work (SOW). Work includes but is not limited to, providing Fiber Reinforced Plastic panels (white in color), glue adhesive, borders, edges, corners, extenders, screws, tools, knowledge of hanging panels, debris removal, and labor. Each room is approximately 10' x 13' x 10' (to include the entrance door). Description of Tasks and Associated Services and Deliverables: The contractor shall prep all walls associated with this bid for adhesive products. FRP Panels will be secured to all walls and doors from baseboard to ceiling. Panels will be cut to fit around any conduits or obstructions. All debris will be hauled away by contractor. Site Visit.
