The Contractor shall assess damaged roof, submit a strategic roof repair plan for the affected area(s), and make the approved repairs in coordination with the Facilities Management Service (FMS) point of contact at 1700 N. Wheeling Street, Aurora, CO 80045. VA will provide any blueprints or roof schedules as needed for the Contractor to propose a non-invasive repair as quickly as possible. Contractor to respond within 24 hours of notification that there is a leaking roof. Contractor is expected to have a repair plan submitted to the VA within 36 hours of notification of the VA that there is a leaking roof. Each roof repair must be completed within 2 business days of initial notification that there is a leak. Contractor to notify VA point of contact if there will be any derivation from the proposed timelines. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside (FAR 19.14) Assess roof damage, submit repair plan - Base Year: Date of award through July 31, 2023 Repair roof on an as needed/as requested basis - Base Year: Date of award through July 31, 2023 Assess roof damage, submit repair plan - Option Year 1: August 01, 2023 through July 31, 2024 Repair roof on an as needed/as requested basis - Option Year 1: August 01, 2023 through July 31, 2024 Scope: The Contractor shall assess damaged roof, submit a strategic roof repair plan for the affected area(s), and make the approved repairs in coordination with the Facilities Management Service (FMS) point of contact at 1700 N. See pictures of the roof type at the very end of this document. Unit Price: The unit cost indicated in the Schedule is all-inclusive and covers the assessments the roof damage, supply repair options, delivery, and installation of roof repair. Costs shall include labor, personnel, travel, and supplies and will be applied to each occurrence with a quote being approved in advance by FMS. Infection control barriers inside the buildings are the responsibility of the Contractor. The Contractor can submit a Safety Plan within 10 business days after the contract is awarded for approval by the VA Safety and Facilities teams. Estimated Quantities: The quantities of supplies / services specified in the Price Schedule are estimates only and are not purchased by this contract. Any questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer no later than 5:00 p.m. MT, Tuesday, July 12, 2022. All responses to questions received will be posted to the Contracting Opportunities website via an amendment.
