The Altura Blvd. Sidewalk Improvements project consists of constructing an ADA compliant 5' wide sidewalk on the west side of Altura Boulevard to provide improved pedestrian facilities and an improved crossing with Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFB) at the intersection of Altura Boulevard and E 17th Avenue. The estimated cost for this project is from $205,000.00 to $280,000.00 Construction consists of the following improvements: Earthwork - Unclassified excavation Removals - Existing mid-block crossing, asphalt pavement, curb ramps Upgrading existing curb ramps Concrete Work - 5' wide sidewalk, curb and gutter, curb ramps Hot mix asphalt patching Installation of two RRFBs Reset water meter Reset mailbox structures and ground signs Tree removal Mobilization, Landscape restoration, Construction traffic control Erosion control BMPs Work not specifically called for, but which must be accomplished to construct the widening required under this contract, shall be considered as a part of this contract, whether or not specifically detailed.
