Renovation of a medical facility in San Jose, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
Women & Children's Center 5th Floor Improvements & Library County The scope of work consists of, but are not limited to, the following: Demolition of exterior roof decks, corridors, offices, waiting room, and the existing elevator lobby at the elevators on the 5th floor Construct of a new library area and media/computer room, corridor, and exterior roof deck areas Design and obtain HCAI-OSHPD required approval/permits including but not limited to fire sprinklers, exterior windows, entrances, and aluminum panel systems, MEP hangers/seismic supports. The Work will consist of Phase 2 & Phase 3 shown on the construction drawings including but not limited to: Demolition of two exterior roof decks, corridors, offices, waiting room, and the existing elevator lobby at the north elevator and south elevator on the 5 th floor, shown on construction documents as phase 2 and phase 3. Demolish MEP systems shown on demo drawings. Construct of a new library area and media/computer room, corridor, and exterior roof deck area, shown on construction documents as phase 2 and phase 3. Design and Obtain HCAI-OSHPD required approval/permits for Fire sprinklers, exterior windows, entrances, and aluminum panel system, MEP hangers/seismic supports. Refer to G0.00 Coversheet construction document for additional deferred approval submittals list. Drawings shall be designed and stamped by California licensed engineer. Protect existing areas including utilities feeding adjacent areas and provide method of procedure (MOP) for any utility's shutdown. Submit Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) Permit prior to any construction activities inside the building. Compliant with Santa Clara Valley Medical Center infection prevention manual. Maintain temporary egress during construction during construction PN - 104.0302.00
