The work for which bids are being requested consists of the following: Contract Provide cured-in-place pipe lining for rehabilitation of five individual gravity sewer pipes within the Village of Galien sanitary collection system. The pipes to be rehabilitated include 8-inch and 10-inch pipes. The locations are on 2nd Street between Grant and George (2nd Street), underneath the gas station near Pulaski Highway (Gas Station), and just north of the railroad between Grant and Cleveland (Backyard). The work requested includes all preparation work, lining and restoration of service and various appurtenances. No bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for at least 90 days. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price. Bond forms are included in the Contract Documents. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in bidding. The use of local contractors and labor is encouraged.
