The University of Minnesota is accepting lump sum bids for the Vet Med North Student Clinical Skills Space project on the Saint Paul Campus which is part of the College of Veterinary Medicine. The project will renovate two contiguous formerly x-ray rooms into a single student clinical skills lab/classroom. This project will demolish existing concrete walls, raised floor, misc. shelving, steel rolling barn doors, steel X-ray equipment supports and existing MEP. The general construction will include new finishes, plumbing fixtures, HVAC system, fire sprinkler, electrical data and power, general and surgical lighting. The Vet Med North building will be occupied during the remodeling work. While working during off hours is not anticipated, the successful contractor may need to schedule noisy, disruptive work around the colleges classroom and clinic schedules within Vet Med North.
