PROJECT DESCRIPTION The project is a traditional "design-bid-build" model which consists of the construction and renovations of the Bartow County Health Department. The Contractor shall complete all Work as presented in the Bid Plans and Specifications. The Work is generally described as follows: Construction of renovations and expansions to the existing Bartow County Health Department building at 100 Zena Drive, Cartersville, GA 30120. The existing 15,695 SF building does not provide the space ratio necessary to serve the Bartow County population. The renovations and additions will bring the total square footage to just over 21,000 square feet. The scope of work includes but is not limited to interior/exterior renovations, ADA improvements, interior/exterior construction and new interior/exterior finishes. The project is funded, in part, by a Community Development Block Grant and all requirements thereof must beSealed Bids will be received and then publicly opened and read aloud. Contracting shall be by means of a General Contractor for Construction between one General Contractor and Bartow County. Contractors must not be on the Georgia Department of Community Affairs de-barred list.
