LSU is requesting bids for the installation, rental, and removal of 2000 Tons of chilling capacity at the Highland Utility Center. The intent of this solicitation is to obtain bids for a Turnkey solution and bid prices must include any and all applicable charges, including but not limited to: ancillary materials and equipment, labor, shipping (including any necessary permit fees), insurance, installation, commissioning, testing, maintenance, decommissioning, and removal of the chillers. It is LSU's intent to have the temporary chillers in operation by 8/22/2022 to 11/21/2022; however, the removal date will be dependent upon weather conditions. If it remains hot, the temporary chillers will remain in place. LSU reserves the right to extend this contract at the same quoted rate as long as necessary, if deemed in the best interest of the university.
