This project would provide ongoing City Hall rehabilitation work identified in the Facility Condition Assessment Report. The current immediate repair includes replacing the HVAC system, which includes central heating central cooling distribution system and split system units. The HVAC system components vary in age however, all of them are near the end of their useful life and need to be replaced within the next five years. The first phase of this project consists of evaluation of the existing HVAC system and preparing schematic design. Based on the result of the evaluation that would detail the impact to City Hall staff will consider design and construction schedule for the project. Project is included in the City of Santa Clara's FY 2023-2027 Budget CIP. As of August 9, 2022, information regarding a design team or a general contractor is not available.
