Renovation of a municipal facility in Fall River, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

HVAC Upgrades at 45 Rock Street IFB #23-01 The City of Fall River, in coordination with the Community Development Agency invites sealed bids from Contractors for the HVAC Upgrades at 45 Rock Street in accordance with the documents prepared by William Starck Architects, Inc., 126 Cove Street, Fall River, Massachusetts. Estimated project cost: $575,000 . Scope of work includes but is not limited to: Removal of existing HVAC system and replace with new, incidental work including patch/repair, remove and replace ceiling tiles and new chases. Bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the work category: HVAC. Responses may be hand-delivered or mailed to the Purchasing Department: Monday thru Thursday: 9:00am 4:00pm Friday: 9:00am 3:00pm Envelopes must be clearly marked: BID IFB #23-01 Solicitation packages will be available electronically by e-mail request only at: purchasing@fallriverma.org beginning Wednesday, July 13, 2022. Please email questions to rjacques@starckarchitects.com. The subject line should read: IFB #23-01 Questions. Questions received after the deadline will not be answered. A minimum combined MBE/WBE participation of 5% of the overall construction cost has been established for this project. The successful bidder will also be required to comply with the provisions of Chapter 306 of the Acts of 2004 in regard to required OSHA approved safety & Health Training. The Fall River Community Development Agency is a partner on this project; therefore, the Davis-Bacon Act applies. Bids are subject to M.G.L.C. 149 sec. 44A-J and prevailing wage rates apply to this project as determined by the Massachusetts Department of Labor Standards and the US Department of Labor. A Federal Wage Set and a State Wage Set are included in this bid package. All Contractors and Subcontractors on this project are required to pay the higher of the State or Federal Wage Rate for EACH employee for EACH wage classification on the job throughout the project and submit certified payroll records to FRCDA. This project is subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 (12 U.S.C. 1701u) and the Section 3 Final Rule codified at 24 CFR Part 75. Contractors and Subcontractors are required to report on the Section 3 status of their business, workers, and subcontractors per the requirements in this bid package. The City of Fall River reserves the right to reject any and all bids when doing so is deemed in the best interest of the City of Fall River. The Community Development Agency intends to award a contract within thirty (30) days of bid opening.
