Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in San Francisco, California. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; for outdoor lighting for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Contract ID - 1000015270 The project is located on an existing parking lot at Candlestick Point State Recreation Area in San Francisco, as part of a lease agreement between the City of San Francisco and California State Lands Commission. The project will retrofit the parking lot to create a vehicle triage center, a safe place for people experiencing homelessness to park their cars and receive services. This project is under the City and County of San Francisco Emergency Ordinance 61-19 and part of the Mayor's COVID-19 relief effort. Phase 1 of the project is already completed, and the site is opened to 51 client vehicles (77 residents). An office trailer, guard shack, and several storage containers are currently the only buildings on site. Services like mobile showers and porta potties are also provided. There is a 6' high chain- link perimeter fence with privacy slats and pedestrian and vehicular gates. The site currently uses mobile lighting towers for site lighting. The scope of work of Phase 2 for this project involves upgrading utilities including electrical, water, and sewerage. New primary electrical service infrastructure shall be installed to provide power to each RV, trailer, etc. New site lighting shall be installed. A new sump pump shall tie into an existing sanitary sewer force main line and new sewerage connections will be installed to owner furnished office, shower, and restroom trailers as well as an existing restroom building. The owner furnished office trailers and shower/restroom trailers shall be connected to two existing 2" domestic water lines. There may be approximately 150 vehicles total (combination of RV's and passenger vehicles) during construction, so construction activities require careful coordination with the City representatives.
