Each bid must be accompanied by cash, a cashiers check or a certified check, or by a bid bond duly executed by the Bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a company qualified to act as surety in the State of Minnesota, for not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, payable without condition to the City of Ham Lake, Minnesota. The City of Ham Lake will not accept a performance bond or payment bond that requires that funds for payment to the Contractor be placed with an escrow company for disbursement. The City of Ham Lake will disburse all Contractor draws directly. The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in any bids received without explanation.
