Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Ham Lake, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the construction of a 4,983-square-foot, one-story above grade fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
AS of April 17, 2023, the project has been awarded. The work shall consist of the Contractor providing and constructing all material for the City of Ham Lake Fire Station. Project Description Overview consists of but is not limited to: 1. Site Improvements: a. Adding an access drive off 149th Ave. b. Increasing the width of the single lane access road off Durant Street c. Adding approximately 20 parking spaces, 1 accessible. d. Adding Electrical Generator, transformer, and subpanel. e. Bring Utilities to the building. f. Add Septic and well services on site. 2. The 4,983 square foot Building consists of 2 parts, 1). Apparatus Bays with 3 front and rear overhead doors for drive-through access, and 2). A Community Services portion of building to house a meeting room, small kitchen, restrooms, dispatch station, fitness room, a laundry/ storage/ room, and a 2nd floor/ mechanical room. Bids must be made on the basis of cash payment for the work accompanied by a cash basis, a certified check (from a responsible bank in the State of Minnesota), or a bidder's bond and made payable without condition to the City of Ham Lake, Minnesota, in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid
