**As of September 14, 2022, project was awarded to Sealcoating Inc, awarded amount is $199,992.10.** The City of Marlborough, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from contractors for the Crack Sealing of Various Streets in Marlborough, Massachusetts for the Department of Public Works-Engineering Division in accordance with the documents prepared by the City of Marlborough. The project consists of all major items associated with crack sealing including but not limited to cleaning and sealing cracks throughout the City, including all labor, material and equipment necessary to complete the Work. The contract allowance amount is $200,000.00. MassDOT prequalification of contractors with the class of work as, (Crack Sealing), for the project with an estimated value of $200,000.00 will be required. Bids are subject to M.G.L., c. 30, 39M, and to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L c.149, 26 through 27H inclusive. Questions concerning the bid specifications must be submitting in writing via email to Attn: Mark Dascoli at mdascoli@marlborough-ma.gov no later than 3 business days prior to the scheduled bid opening. All questions and answers shall be distributed as an addendum to all on record as having received the bid documents. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit of not less than five (5%) percent of the value of the bid in accordance with M.G.L. c. 30, 39 M (a), and made payable to the City of Marlborough, the Awarding Authority. The bid deposit may be submitted in the form of a certified check, a treasurer's or cashier's check issued by a responsible bank or trust company or a Bid Bond. In lieu of a Bid Bond, deposit checks must be submitted in a sealed envelope with a completed Bid Bond Affidavit form and received by the City before the bidding deadline. The Bidder must also submit a completed Bid Bond Affidavit form with their electronic bid.
