CBE is pursuing a modernized approach to the implementation of video surveillance services by deploying an Internet of Things (IoT) architecture to meet the needs of schools, centralized security administration, and CBE's internal governance. While the CBE's traditional approach to procuring of video surveillance cameras and services remains as one option, the CBE is open to considering and exploring alternative costing approaches and models including but not limited to: Consumption-based model - where for a pre-determined term the proponent provides the Video Surveillance solution using consumption-based charging. Managed Services model - where for a pre-determined term the proponent supplies and manages the end-to-end Video Surveillance solution. Leasing - where for a pre-determined term the proponent provides the Video Surveillance solution under some type of lease arrangement. Accordingly, CBE is open to proponents supplying responses that comprise more than one approach or model providing that each approach or model entirely satisfies the spirit and letter of the RFP's requirements.
