Reference Number AB-2022-05541 Source ID APC 1. This RFP is open to all interested vendors. 2. The City of Calgary requires the services of an engineering consulting firm to conduct subsurface landfill gas monitoring at landfill sites. The selected Consultant will be required to conduct field monitoring and document findings in authenticated reports. The Consultant will be required to coordinate with The City project manager as well as various site stakeholders. Monitoring will be performed at subsurface landfill gas monitoring wells, catchbasins and within buildings at or near the landfill sites. Monitoring is done in support of environmental monitoring requirements for each site. Support with modifications to subsurface landfill gas monitoring networks at both Active and Closed Landfill sites may be required. 3. This procurement process is not intended to create, and, will not create, a formal, legally binding bidding process. It will instead be governed by the law applicable to direct commercial negotiations. 4. The Expiry Date for the Agreement will be for 5 years unless terminated earlier. ESTIMATED BUDGET FOR CONSULTING/PROFESSIONAL FEES: $25,000 - $75,000 per year, including GST Total potential spend for the length of agreement is estimated to be up to $400,000 The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
