Site work for a pipeline in Hartwell, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a pipeline.
Proposals received after the designated time will not be considered. The work consists of providing all labor, tools, skills, equipment and all incidental materials not supplied by the city for the construction of approximately 11,000 feet of 6-inch steel gas main along and within the right of way of US8 Royston Highway and Zion CME Church Road near Hartwell Georgia. Bidders shall inform themselves concerning Georgia Laws, and comply with same. Said check or bond will be returned to the unsuccessful bidder as soon as the contract or contracts have been awarded and to the successful bidder as soon as he has executed the contract or contracts and furnished the necessary bonds, same having been approved by the City's attorney. All bids must be made out on the proposal form furnished in the contract documents, in accordance with the instructions in the Information for Bidders. No interlineations, additions or deletions shall be made in the proposal form by the bidder. The successful bidder will be furnished, free of charge, three (3) sets of plans and contract documents. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids for a period of ninety (90) days. Bidders are required to have a State of Georgia Utility Contractor License to submit a bid in excess of $100,000.00. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids; to waive formalities; re-advertise; and to reduce or add to the contract from time to time.
