Sealed bids are requested by East Feliciana Public Schools from general contractors for construction of: PROJECT NAME: Roof Replacement at Clinton and Slaughter Elementary Schools ADDRESS: 10701 Reily St., Clinton, LA 70722 & 3170 Church St., Slaughter, LA 70777 Complete Bid Documents for this project are available in electronic form. Printed copies are not available from the Designer, but arrangements can be made to obtain them through most reprographic firms. Plan holders are responsible for their own reproduction costs. The successful Bidder is allowed sixty (60) calendar days to complete the Project from the date stated in the Contract. Liquidated damages will be assessed at $500 for each consecutive calendar day for which the work is not substantially complete and $500 for each consecutive calendar day for which all of the work listed on the punch list is not complete. Contract, if awarded, will be on the basis stated in the Instructions to Bidders. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 45 days after the date of the bid opening. If the offer sum is $50,000 or more Bidders must meet the requirements of the State of Louisiana Contractors Licensing Law, R. S. 37:2151 et seq. East Feliciana Parish Schools reserves the right to award the project on whatever basis is in the interest of the Owner and to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and informalities.
