Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Harrison, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; theater / auditorium; and theater / auditorium.

The project includes the development of a new park on Block 143, Lots 43 and 7.05. The work shall also include the construction of asphalt paths, paver and concrete walkways, a gazebo, a pergola, a porous pavement parking lot, an amphitheater and other site amenities within the project limits. Add alternates include the development of an entrance on the corner property and either the planting of meadow grass or construction of a dog park with separate areas for small and large dogs. Disclaimer: If you would like to bid on this project you MUST obtain bid documents by contacting procurement@suburbanconsulting.com Bid Security is required in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Bid, but not in excess of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00). Certificate from a Surety Company is required indicating consent to be bound as surety and guarantor for performance required under the Contract Documents. Bids must be submitted on the Bid Form contained in the Contract Documents and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope plainly marked on the outside with the name of project and the name and address of the Bidder. The Bid must be delivered to the Owner prior to Bid opening at the above address for submitting Bids. Bids will not be accepted after deadline. Bidders are required to submit a certificate from the New Jersey Department of Labor establishing that the bidder is registered pursuant to the Public Works Contractor Registration Act (P.L. 1999, c.238). Bidders are required to comply with the provisions of the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act, Chapter 150 of the Laws of 1963, effective January 1, 1964, and with the requirements of P.L. 1975, C. 17(N.J.A.C. 17:27), Affirmative Action Program, and N.J.S.A. 10:2-1 et seq. All Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. Bidder shall provide its New Jersey Business Registration Certificate and Contractor's Public Works Registration with its bid. Please be advised that State funds through the Green Acres Program and NJDEP Office of Natural Resource Restoration are being utilized in this project. Under N.J.A.C, 7:1-5, vendors currently suspended, debarred or disqualified are excluded from participation this project. The Town of Harrison reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, or to waive any Bid defect where such defect is not detrimental to the best interest of the Town of Harrison and fairness of the bidding process. The right is also reserved to increase or decrease the quantities specified in the manner designated in the Contract Documents. Written request must contain company name, company address, contact name, contact telephone number, contact fax, telephone number, and contact email address in order to receive a link to download documents.
