For the furnishing of all labor, materials, apparatus, expendable tools and equipment, and all other services required for furnishing one (1) arc resistant (AR) 15 kV switchgear associated with improvements to the Municipal Electric System of the City of Dover, Ohio. The base bid consists of a nine (9)-section lineup. One of the five mandatory alternates is a seven (7)-section lineup. The Five (5) Mandatory alternates must be bid to be considered a complete bid offering. For technical questions please contact Joe Hulderman at jhulderman@ssoe.com. To be responsive, all bids must include all equipment, apparatus, materials and Work necessary to be in strict conformance with the Contract Documents. The City of Dover, Ohio expressly reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to judge the character and sufficiency of the Work offered by the bidders, and to judge the ability of any bidder to perform the Work in a proper manner. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of opening thereof. A Bid Bond executed by the bidder and a surety company in an amount equal to Ten Percent (10%) of the aggregate amount of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. In lieu of such bond, a certified check in the amount equal to that required in such bond, payable to City of Dover, Ohio may be submitted.
