This is a Design-Build Project The objective of this project is for the Contractor to provide all labor, materials and equipment necessary to Replace Building Automation System Mary Walker Clinic, Bldg. 170, Weed Army Community Hospital, in accordance with all Federal, State, and Installation codes and laws, to include preparation of a design as discussed below. The contractor shall provide a full replacement of the BAS serving the Mary Walker Army Medical Health Clinic, perform a Re-Commissioning Test Adjust Balance of the facility back to the latest most accurate system design and sequence of operations; have the contractor demonstrate the validation of the design through an arduous functional performance test which stresses the HVAC to its design limit; and provide both building owner and building maintainer/operator with extensive training in the theory and principle of design, the many new features of the BAS system installed, how to optimize the system for most efficient and reliable service, how to recognize abnormal conditions and how to react and troubleshoot said deviations of performance, how to maintain the system sensory and actuation devices. The functional testing of the system and the training will in part be provided by the contractor's Designer of Record, the system manufacturer, and the installer.
