Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Riegelsville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

This project will consist of roadway base repair and overlay on Bidwell Lane and Elmwood Lane. Items for sweeping and preparation, joint sealing around curbs, manholes, inlets, and valve boxes, and utility risers will be incidental to the project. Clarification Deadline: 8/1/2022 11:00 AM Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Borough of Riegelsville. Meeting will be followed by a tour of the project site, if requested. Award of Contract, if a Contract be awarded, will be to the lowest responsible bidder, but the Owner reserves the unqualified right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. The work in connection with this project constitutes a Public Works by a Public Body project. Bidders are advised that prevailing minimum wage rates, as set forth in the Contract Documents, must be paid to workmen employed on this project. In addition, the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, or disability. All current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Standards and Specifications will prevail over all standards and specifications included in this contract.
