Since their commissioning, some 30 years ago, the installations have undergone the normal effects of wear and aging and their ultimate capacity has practically been reached. The capacity of the sludge treatment chain is sometimes insufficient to cope with an overall growing and fluctuating demand for incoming loads and in this context the City wishes to examine various options in order to acquire additional back-up capacity to treat slurry from thickeners in parallel with existing dewatering equipment. The objective of this call for interest is to collect information from potential suppliers of a mobile dehydration unit in order to take it into account when establishing the final requirements of a possible call for tenders. The City would like to obtain proposals for the rental, purchase or rental with option to purchase new or used equipment.
