As of August 23rd, 2022, project was awarded to JV Lucas Paving, Inc. Awarded amount was not disclosed. The County of Calaveras will receive sealed bids for Road Resurfacing and Paving Program, Murphys Road Project, County Project No. 2104. This project, generally described, consists of pavement rehabilitation of roadways identified within the town of Murphys, as shown on the Project Plans. Questions based on alleged patent ambiguity of the plans, specifications, or estimate must be asked in writing before bid opening. After bid opening, the County does not consider these questions as bid protests. The Contractor shall possess a Class A general engineering contractor license or any combination of Class C licenses which constitutes a majority of the work. Complete the work within a total of 30 working days beginning from the date specified on the County's Notice to Proceed. Time is of the essence. Construction activities on this Project shall commence within 5 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed has been issued by the Engineer Bids must be accompanied by bidder's security equal to at least 10 percent of the bid. Anticipated Contract Award September 13, 2022 . The Work under this Contract shall be completed within 30 working days The successful bidder shall furnish a payment bond and a performance bond.
