BIDS for the construction of the Ojai Valley Sanitary District's Creek Road Manhole Adjustment Project located in the public right-of-way and District-owned easements in various locations in Unincorporated Ventura County, California. Unless otherwise defined, the specifications and standard plans of the latest edition of the Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction "SSPWC" or "Green Book" shall apply, and any capitalized terms used in this Notice Inviting Bids shall have the same meaning given to them in the "General Conditions" adopted by the District. Each Bidder must submit all of the items described in the Instructions to Bidders provided by the District (the "Instructions to Bidders") and all of those items shall collectively constitute the "Bid." BID OPENING Ojai Valley Sanitary District (OVSD or District) hereby invites sealed Bids for constructing the Creek Road Manhole Adjustment Project in accordance with the District's Contract Documents including its Specifications No. 2022-08. Bids shall be submitted in accordance with the requirements set out in the Instructions to Bidders. DESCRIPTION OF WORK The Work involves the replacement of approximately 93 manhole and clean out lids and frames including demolition, proper disposal, and collar construction, bustle construction and/or repavement until the work is complete and in place in accordance with the Contract Documents. The District will provide the lids and frames for this project. The Engineer's Estimate for this Work is $205,000. LOCATION OF WORK The Work is located within the public right-of-way and District-owned easements in various locations in Unincorporated Ventura County, California.
