All work on this contract shall be completed by July 1, 2023. Liquidated Damages, per diem: $1000.00/Day The residency requirements for this project have been waived. This project includes American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding. Bidders must review and abide by the City's ARPA SWMBE Contract Compliance Procedures. The SMWBE/LSA requirement for this project is 25% of the contract base bid. The SMWBE/LSA Compliance Plan (Form A) must be submitted with the bid and is an element of bid responsiveness. SMWBE certificates must be submitted with the Form A. Incomplete SMWBE/LSA Compliance Plans (Form A) or inaccurate Compliance Plans will not be accepted and will render the bid unresponsive. The contractor shall specifically note the SMWBE/LSA and apprenticeship forms for this project. If the forms are not filled out properly, it will be cause for rejection of the bid. Bid Security Required: Bond, Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Cash to accompany bid: 10% of the Contractor's Base Bid. PAYMENT MONITORING REQUIREMENTS: All Contractors awarded a contract valued at $25,000.00 or more are required to participate in training on the City of Milwaukee's contract compliance software within 30 days of the contract award date. Throughout the contract term, Contractors are required to regularly provide timely subcontractor payment information in the City's contract compliance software.
