The City of Edgewood is seeking a qualified entity or individual to provide the goods and/or services described herein. The City anticipates selecting one firm to perform the services. Bids are requested from Companies that have a demonstrated ability to perform the tasks identified in this Invitation for Bid. This Project consists of Concrete Street Improvements on Fawnhill Dr. Fawnhill is located off of Winding Trails, which is off of Dudley. The Base Bid is for approximately 1400 LF of concrete roadway removal and replacement from Driftwood to the northern end. An additional 850 LF will be taken as an Alternate Bid from Winding Trails to Driftwood. All bids are to be based directly on the materials and fabrication techniques indicated in this drawing package. No alternates will be considered as part of the base bid. Any alternates suggested by the potential bidder must be quoted separately as alternates and must be accompanied by a complete description of the proposed alternate in order to be considered. Bidder may modify or withdraw their proposal at any point up to the specified time and date identified for receipt of proposals. Any bid withdrawal, modification and/or re-submittal must take place via the City's eProcurement Portal prior to the bid event time deadline. The successful Bidder shall furnish separate performance and payment bonds each in the amount of 100% of the contract price. The bonds shall be made payable to the City as security for faithful performance of the contract and for the payment of all persons, firms or corporations to whom the Bidder may become legally indebted for labor, materials, tools, equipment or services in the performance of the project work. The form of the bond shall be that provided within the project manual. The current power of attorney for the person signing the bond as a representative of the surety shall be attached to the bonds.
