In general the work consists of: Removal of one 4000-gallon existing underground storage tank (UST) by a state certified remover and cleaner. During removal, a tank system site35 assessment (TSSA) will be conducted by the A/E. Demolition activities include the demolishing and removal of concrete slabs, fueling island, spill containment pad, abandonment and termination of storm, electrical, and heat trace utilities, and restoration38 of the work area. The final demolition limits will be restored by bituminous asphalt pavement he Division of Facilities Development, hereinafter termed DFD, hereby announces that it is advertising for bids from certified contractors for the above project All potential bidders must become certified by DOA prior to submitting bids on22 state construction projects with budgets over $50,000. All bids received from contractors who are not certified will be rejected. These changes take effect January 1, 2014. Effective September 23, 2017, state prevailing wage requirements on state building projects no longer apply. These changes take effect for projects advertised for bid after September 23, 2017. This change does not affect the Federal Davis Bacon Act requirements. A formal in-person pre-bid tour will not be conducted for this project.
