Renovation of a medical facility in Wausau, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 70,000-square-foot medical facility.
Direct inquiries to the construction manager. A. Work for this Project is described as the construction of a new spaces within Buildings A & B of the Marathon County Lake View Campus Health and Human Services Facility for the consolidated relocation of county departments currently located at other facilities. Work consists of the following: 1. Demolition work, which includes saw-cutting of portions of the existing concrete floor. 2. Replacement of several existing exterior windows. 3. New construction is called out in the drawings and specifications including: a. Concrete floor work, concrete masonry unit partitions. b. Metal stud with drywall partition construction. c. Millwork, door, and hardware replacement. d. Finishes include new floor, wall, and ceiling materials. 4. Plumbing work. 5. HVAC work. 6. Electrical work. 7. Fire Protection work. 8. Safety and Security work. B. The Project will be completed under a single prime contract. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled on 1/22/2024 at 10 a.m. at 1100 Lakeview Drive Wausau, WI 54403. Meeting at Door #35. The pre-bid walk through is mandatory for the following contracts: General Trades, Fire Suppression, Plumbing, HVAC, and Electrical.
