The fire alarm system upgrade Scope of Work includes: Replacing the entire Simplex fire alarm panel in the East Art Building, including addressable initiating devices in both the East and West Art Buildings. Upgrade the main control boards in the fire alarm panels in the Main building, Center for Civic Engagement Building, and Fieldhouse. Upgrade in these buildings to include new fiberoptic communication cards to match new communication protocols of the new Art Building panel. Provide Customer Training. Provide all electrical work required for the upgrades A Mandatory Pre-Proposal Meeting will be held at 10:00AM, February 2, 2023, at the UWSP at Wausau Campus located at 518 S.7th Avenue, Wausau WI 54401. We will gather in the east entry at the Main Building. This will include a walkthrough of the facility and clarification of items in the request for proposal. Marathon County reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any and all proposals; to waive any technical deficiencies in the proposals; to accept the proposal and award final contract to the responsible offeror determined to be the most advantageous to Marathon County . Three (3) copies of the proposal and one electronic copy on thumb drive, are to be submitted within a single sealed envelope or container.
