Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in State Center, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
A single general contract bid will be awarded for all work indicated in the plans and specifications. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 5% from bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check in the same amount. Scope of the project includes but is not limited to: removal & replacement of existing site fencing for site access, removal of existing site ground cover & spoils, site regrading, placement of granular free-draining subbase, drainage tile, poured in-place concrete, and poured in-place playground surfacing. Project will also include procurement and installation of playground equipment. Bid Alternates will include removal of existing playground equipment, removal & replacement of concrete and rubberized paving, and new playground equipment.
