Site work, paving and renovation of a civil project in Alexander City, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The bid is comprised of the following principal items and approximate quantities: 1. Pump Station Construction 2. Sitework and Grading 3. Miscellaneous Appurtenances and Work All Bidders must be responsible, meeting the criteria and requirements set forth in the specification documents. Prequalification of Bidders is not required. This project is considered a Public Works project and is governed by competitive bid laws as contained in Title 39 of the Alabama Code. Bidders, subcontractors, suppliers, and Bond Agents should be familiar with this code. This project is also governed by CDBG requirements and SRF Requirements. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technicalities. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty days from the date set for receiving of the same. There will be a mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting for this project in the City Council Chambers at 2:00 p.m. on August 9, 2022.
