Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Bourbonnais, Illinois. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The Village of Bourbonnais (the "Village") seeks proposals for the redevelopment of a certain portion of the Village generally bounded by Harrison Street to the north, University Avenue to the south, Main Street to the east, and Rivard Street to the west. This portion of the Village consists of fourteen (14) parcels which includes two (2) parcels owned by the Village. The Village actively solicits any interested and qualified private party (a "Developer") to submit a proposal for the redevelopment of these parcels; such proposal must be consistent with the Village's Comprehensive Plan and the Village's Zoning Ordinance. The primary objective of the Village is to create new investment (whether through substantial renovation, or new construction) in a key location in the Village; the redevelopment proposed must demonstrate an understanding of these parcels' positioning in the Village. The portion of the community under consideration for redevelopment is part of the Village's Main Street/University Avenue Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Area, as well as its Main Street Business District (BD). The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
