The City of Titusville, Florida (local government) desires to obtain services of a licensed, bonded and experienced multi-media records recovery services Contractor that can provide professional and technical services in the response and recovery of records damaged during any natural or man-made disaster or emergency situation (i.e., fire, flood, hurricane, etc.), as required by the City of Titusville, Florida. This contract will not be applicable to computer systems. The volume of records to be considered for this bid is undetermined based on a number of unknown elements, with the most critical being the number of City owned or leased locations (buildings and holdings of public records) that might be negatively impacted during any natural or man-made disaster or emergency situation. The City of Titusville has approximately 2,000 cubic feet of archived public records in its public records annex building located adjacent to City Hall), which are protected and managed under the direct control of the City of Titusville City Clerk's Office. The City's other various departments also protect and manage approximately 1,000 cubic feet of their own public records in remote locations throughout the City of Titusville. The general estimate of the cubic feet of records that are stored within the City of Titusville's other various departments and buildings, at any given time, may change. These and all public records in the care of the City of Titusville and the City's various departments belong to the City of Titusville. All services to be provided under this contract must be authorized in accordance to City Policies either by the City of Titusville governing body, Mayor, City Manager or City Clerk's Project Manager, before any work is performed. There will be no retainer paid in order to keep the contract in effect. The resulting contract will be on an as-needed basis and used only in case of a disaster or emergency as so deemed by the City of Titusville, Florida.
