The work consists of, but not limited to, complete removal of parge coating on the existing light house tower only and miscellaneous masonry repairs, including tuckpointing and replacement of damaged bricks. Upon completion of tower repairs, the face brick is to receive a protective limewash finish. Also, installation of new metal gutters/downspouts at the tower connector, full restoration of the cast iron Lantern/Gallery, installation of vent louvers within tower window openings, installation of a new insulated metal coiling door at the tower entrance, new interior tower finishes, and miscellaneous electrical work. This Contract Time is of the essence and liquidated damages for each Calendar Day that expires after this Substantial Completion of the entire Work must be in the amount of $1,000.00 Liquidated damages are not a penalty Questions 7/28/22
