All materials shall conform to Massachusetts Highway Department "Standard Specifications for Highways and Bridges" or those of the Town of West Boylston. All bids shall be valid from August 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023. A completed Certificate of Non-Collusion and Certificate of Payment of Taxes must be filed with the sealed bids. Interested vendors and contractors are required to secure a set of bid specifications and bid forms. Specifications and bid forms may be obtained at the Office of the Department of Public Works, 35 Worcester Street, West Boylston, MA 01583 between the hours of 8:00 AM and 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday. All bids for this project are subject to applicable bidding laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, including, but not limited to General Laws, Chapter 30, Section 39M, as amended. All bidders shall observe and be responsible for the requirements as to the conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract as determined by the Massachusetts Department of Labor and Industries under the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Sections 26 to 27D, inclusive, as amended. Minority and female owned businesses are encouraged to bid. The Town of West Boylston reserves the right to waive any and all informalities, or to reject any or all bids.
