Site work for a water / sewer project in West Boylston, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Facility Heating and Domestic Hot Water Distribution Piping Project. In general, the project includes all labor, materials, equipment and supervision required for the facility heating and domestic hot water distribution piping project at the WCSO. Work shall include, but not be limited to, the removal and replacement of the heating and domestic hot water supply and return system piping from the Main Jail School Building to the Mini 5 Building and from the Mini 5 Building to the Work Release Building (see specs). Minimum rates of wages to be paid on the project have been determined by the Commissioner of Labor and Industries under the provisions of Section 26 and 27, Chapter 149 and/or Chapter 30 Section 39A of the General Laws. Each bid proposal must be secured by an accompanying deposit of 5% of the total bid. Deposit shall be in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified, Treasurer's or Cashier's Check payable to Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Deposits shall be returned in accordance with the law. In accordance to M.G.L.c.149 - Building Construction Contracts over $150,000: A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the value of the total bid or sub-bid will be required at the time the bidding is due. Thereafter, 100% Payment Bond and 100% Performance Bond will be due from the contractor on award of the contract. All bids for this project are subject to the provision of Chapter 149 Section 44 A-J and Chapter 30 Section 39M of the General Laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. : Estimated Value ofProcurement: $ 1,500,000.00. The project work consists of the removal and replacement of the heating and domestic hot water supply and return system piping from the Main Jail School Building to the Mini 5 Building and from the Mini 5 Building to the Work Release Building. This system shall extend and connect to the heating and domestic hot water mains inside of each building. Removal and replacement of the heating and domestic hot water supply and return system piping located in the tunnel of the Mini 5 Building. The project shall be constructed so as to meet all requirements of the Contract Documents, including, but not limited to, the plans and specifications for Massachusetts State Project Number SDW2151 FT1.
