Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Lima, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Replacement of approximately 11,172 s.F. Of 4" concrete sidewalkwalk, 1,820 s.F. Of 6" concrete sidewalk and 260 l.F. Of composite curb at various locations throughout the city as shown on the plans and specifications A performance bond of 100% of the amount of the contract, with satisfactory corporate sureties, will be required for the faithful performance of the work. The City ofLima reserves the right to waive any bid or bid process irregularities which the City determines in its sole discretion to be in favor, to reject any or all bids for any reason determined to be appropriate in the sole discretion ofthe City, and to award the bid to the lowest and best bidder meeting the City's needs as determined by the City at the City's sole discretion. No oral interpretation shall be made to any bidder as to meaning of any ofthe contract documents, or to be effective to modify any ofthe contract documents. Every request for an interpretation shall be made in writing and addressed to Kirk Niemeyer, City Engineer; 50 Town Square, Lima, OH 45801 or faxed to (419) 221-5257. Written requests must be submitted six (6) calendar days prior to bid opening. The Contractor shall commence work immediately when conditions are suitable to start and prosecute work in such a manner as to complete the entire project by November 30, 2022.
