Site work for a pipeline in Madison, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a pipeline.
Mineral Point Landfill 2022 Gas Construction (14296) This contract shall include the installation of approximately 74 linear feet of 8" and 494 linear feet of 6" SDR-17 HDPE landfill gas piping with all associated connections and valves as shown on the accompanying plan set. All HDPE header piping must by installed at a constant slope between the two tie-in points. A City of Madison - Engineering Division Inspector will verify the header slope prior to backfilling the trench. All erosion control measures as specified in the plan set shall be installed prior to construction according to the standard specifications. Replacement of landfill gas piping within the final cover includes the repair and replacement of the landfill's final cover system as specified in detail 2/D1 of the accompanying plan set. This includes grading the refuse, placing 24" of compacted clay, repairing and seaming the LLDPE Geomembrane and geocomposite, placing 18" of rooting zone general fill, and placing 6" of topsoil. Disturbed areas outside the limits of final cover must be graded and covered with 4" of topsoil. Final seeding and restoration are not included as part of this project
