Renovation of a water / sewer project in Madison, Wisconsin. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Madison Metropolitan Sewerage District (District) is requesting proposals for engineering consulting services (RFP) associated with our Nine Springs Wastewater Treatment Plant Electrical Service Equipment Replacement project (project). This project and associated scope of services is intended to be completed in several stages. This RFP is seeking a qualified engineering consultant with similar project experience to conduct planning, preliminary design, detailed design and construction services for the entirety of the project. 1610 Moorland Rd, Madison, WI 53713. The purpose of this project is to replace aged electrical equipment critical to NSWTP, provide operational continuity and reliability, and improve staff safety. It is anticipated that the H1 switchgear, transformers, and associated bussing will be replaced. It is also anticipated that major upgrades or replacement of the S1 switchgear will be necessary. The consultant shall also introduce, evaluate, and recommend other options they deem viable and cost-effective.
