Replacement meters will be installed with a radio transmitter connected by an existing cable/wire to the meter. The radio transmitter will be installed outside of the customers residence or place of business. The Village of Scarsdale will provide water meters, radio transmitters and 25 feet of wire for each meter (if needed). All , additional wire to connect the radio to the meter, wire connectors, tools, equipment meter seals and transportation necessary to install and test water meters and radios including, but not limited to, meter manufacturers tools for checking readings and account numbers shall be provided by the contractor and included in the pricing provided. All work shall be completed on or before three hundred (300) calendar days after written Notice to Proceed. The Village of Scarsdale reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, or to waive any informality in the proposal, as deemed advisable in the interest of the Village.
