Remodeling and renovation of a military facility in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Completed plans call for the remodel of a military facility.

This is a complete HVAC system replacement and EPDM roof repair/replace project with some new steel access Stairs and Landings. Schedule/Phasing: 2.1.1. RTU replacement work shall be scheduled a minimum of 45 days prior to work. RTU replacement shall be scheduled for the least impact (comfort, safety, convenience, etc) to the building occupants. Units may be done together or separately but should be clearly delineated in a Gantt chart schedule with dates submitted to the Government for review and approval. Preliminary and follow-up work on the RTU's may be done prior to the outage and may be done during normal business hours as long as the units operation is still adequate for season (e.g. the gas train could be removed on a gas-fired unit in the summer). 2.1.2. VAV replacement work, if awarded the contractor shall provide a Gantt chart schedule for each area of the facility detailing when they plan to work in each area. Replacement shall be scheduled for low impact to the occupants. Work shall be performed at night and/or weekends when it would be disruptive to the occupants. Work that is not disruptive to the occupant's normal work (e.g. uploading controllers from mechanical room) may be done during normal business hours. Gantt chart schedule should clearly indicate the areas being worked by day/week or an accompanying floor plan shall be provided to clarify the specific areas *RFIs have been released.
