Site work and new construction of a stadium in Owensboro, Kentucky. Working plans call for the construction of a 86,000-square-foot stadium; and for site work for a stadium.
As of February 2024, construction documents are underway and contractor bidding is expected to commence in March/April 2024. *The previous solicitation is listed below for reference. The City of Owensboro is seeking a qualified architectural firm, licensed to practice in the State of Kentucky, to provide architectural and engineering services to include design, bid specifications, and construction documents and oversite for the construction of an 80,000 to 100,000 square foot indoor sports complex consisting of 5 basketball/volleyball courts, one turf soccer field, concessions area, member services, and admin offices. The City of Owensboro reserves the right to reject any and all qualification statements and to waive any irregularities in said qualification statements. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time
