East Carolina University (ECU) is requesting price quotes for a post-game waste-related removal services contract at
various ECU Athletics stadiums (including Minges Coliseum), designated stadium parking lots, and related athletic events.
Waste and trash-related removal services includes vendor removing waste/trash and placing in roll off dumpsters that will
be located at or near stadium locations and parking lots. Vendor must provide at least two roll off dumpsters inside
Dowdy-Ficklen stadium, in areas designated by ECU Athletics. ECU will provide roll off dumpsters in parking lots near
Dowdy-Ficklen stadium area ECU will be providing roll off dumpsters for waste to be placed by vendor at all other
stadiums. Potential contract could be up to three (3) years and expected to go into effect August 2022. See Section 4.1
for contract terms and other details. The vendor must supply all personnel, equipment, and supplies necessary to
complete requested services. Details of stadiums, when athletic events are held, etc. are on the ECU Athletics website at
East Carolina University Athletics Official Athletics Website (ecupirates.com) and Grady-White Boats Athletic Campus
East Carolina University Athletics (ecupirates.com). Some events could be held during holidays/holiday weekends,
nights, etc. Quotes shall be submitted in accordance with the terms and conditions of this RFQ and any addenda issued
hereto.
NOTE: Please make sure you review this solicitation document prior to the pre-bid site visit/conference. Please also bring
a copy of the solicitation document to the meeting. Copies will not be provided. Instructions: It shall be MANDATORY that
each Vendor representative be present for a pre-bid site visit/conference on Tuesday, July 26, 2022. Attendees shall meet
promptly no later than 9 AM on site visit date at Gate 4 of Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium. Please limit the number of attendees to
no more than two per company due to the need to transport attendees to the different site locations and limited
transportation provided by ECU is available.
All attendees must sign in upon arrival and clearly indicate the prospective Vendor represented on the sign in sheet. LATE
ARRIVALS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO SIGN IN, NOR SHALL THEIR BID BE CONSIDERED. On-time attendance will
be strictly enforced. Please arrive on time to complete the sign in process. Please respond via email to Bryan Tuten,
Purchasing Specialist at tutenb@ecu.edu by 12 NOON Eastern Time on Monday, July 25, to RSVP with the company
name, representative and phone number. The purpose of this visit is for all prospective Vendors to apprise themselves
with the conditions and requirements which will affect the performance of the work called for by Request For Quotation
(RFQ). Vendors must stay for the duration of the site visit. No allowances will be made for unreported conditions that a
prudent Vendor would recognize as affecting the work called for or implied by this bid. Vendors are cautioned that any
information released to attendees during the site visit, other than that involving the physical aspects of the facility
referenced above, and which conflicts with, supersedes, or adds to requirements in this RFQ, must be confirmed by
written addendum before it can be considered to be a part of this bid.
2.0 GENERAL INFORMATION
2.1 REQUEST FOR QUOTE DOCUMENT
The RFQ is comprised of the base RFQ document, any attachments, and any addenda released before Contract award. All
attachments and addenda released for this RFQ in advance of any Contract award are incorporated herein by reference.
Vendor may attach its quote to this RFQ for submission; however, any and all additional, modified or conflicting terms and
conditions submitted on or with Vendor's quote shall be disregarded and shall not be considered a part of any contract

arising from this RFQ. Any attempt to delete or avoid the force of the previous sentence shall render Vendor's quote invalid,
and it shall not be considered.
