As of 9/20/2022, QDC had withdrawn this RFP and has prepared the plans in house. Quonset Development Corporation (QDC) to retain a qualified consultant to provide engineering design services and prepare project Bid Documents. This work consists of designing improvements at four (4) at-grade railroad crossings in the Quonset Business Park, including, but not limited to waming devices, signals, and the replacement ofthe railroad crossings. Proposal (RFP) will be fulfilled, including but not necessarily limited to staff experience, recent project experience. and the firm's role relative to the various project requirements. Each proposal must include at a minimum the following (the specific submission format is provided in the RFP): . Narrative description of the project scope of work which substantiates the firm's understanding of the project objectives. . Firm's experience with similar projects. . Staff qualifications and experience. . Confirmation of staffing availability. . Detailed cost and labor breakdowns. . Proposed project task schedule. . Most current Federal Form SF 330. All questions related to this RFP must be submitted in writing to info@quonset.com The deadline for the submission of questions is Thursday, July 28 at 4:00 PM. The proponent assumes responsibility for Proposals submitted by mail or commercial delivery service. Facsimile and email submissions will not be accepted. Proposals misdirected to other State locations or which are otherwise nol present in the QDC offices at the stated time for any cause will be determined to be late and will not be considered.
