Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to an educational facility in Saint Marys, Georgia. Completed plans call for the addition of a educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.

A. Before submitting a bid, each bidder will be responsible to make or obtain such explorations, tests and data concerning physical conditions (surface, subsurface and underground facilities) at or contiguous to the site, or otherwise may affect cost, progress, performance or furnishing of the work and which bidder deems necessary to determine its bid for performing and furnishing the work in accordance with the time, price and other terms and conditions of the Contract Documents. B. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. A single story CMU masonry load bearing building with bar joist, and light weight insulation concrete roof system. The building will be clad with brick, aluminum curtain wall windows and a signal ply PVC membrane roof. The interior will be painted CMU Masonry, acoustical tile / Gyp ceiling systems, hollow metal door frames, with both wood and hollow metal doors. The floor finishes will be carpet, tile, VCT and sealed concrete. The mechanical system will be a combination of PTAC, and mini split units with a ERU on the roof to provide fresh air. The site work will be minimal disturbed area to build the building and achieve positive drainage. The addition will have a standalone automatic fire sprinkler system and all other system will tie back into the existing building. Additions to Existing Sugarmill Elementary School using Cares Funding (ESSER) - Renovations to this school will also bid on the same day under "Sugarmill Elementary School Renovations ESSER" & "Sugarmill Elementary School Renovations State DOE" - Phase 2 of this project consists of building construction only.
