The Town of Wolfeboro reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technical or legal deficiencies, and to accept any bid that it deems to be in the best interest of the Town. The Town seeks to have the area around one apparatus bay door painted, as well as the base of exterior columns around the apparatus bay to a height of 3 feet +/-, and the interior of the hose tower to a height of 10 feet +/-. All areas are of CMU construction. Each of these areas may be bid separately or as one bid for the entire project. Preference will be given for one bid for the entire project. Proposals shall include proper surface preparation, primer coat as appropriate, and two finish coats. The contractor shall comply with all state and local laws, ordinances, regulations and requirements applicable to work hereunder, including building code requirements. If the contractor ascertains at any time that any requirement of this contract is at variance with applicable laws, ordinances, regulations or building code requirements, she/he shall promptly notify the Town of Wolfeboro in writing. The successful proposal shall include a certificate demonstrating at least $1 million in liability coverage with the Town of Wolfeboro named as an additional insured; and a minimum of three references consisting of commercial projects in the Lakes Region of NH. It shall also include a date certain by which the work will be completed. Contractor and any related subcontractors will carry appropriate liability insurance, and be a legal business entity authorized to conduct business in the State of New Hampshire. The Town of Wolfeboro reserves the right to cancel the award of any contract at any time before the execution of such contract by all parties without any liability or other claim against the Town.
